Project Description

After several years of collaboration between the homeowners, builder, and architect, the creation of this exquisite and sophisticated custom home in the prestigious Two Dogs Subdivision came to life. Designed by world-renowned architect James P. Rothwell, this residence is truly in a class of its own.

The Country Manor design and interior floor plan reflect the owners’ desire to evoke the elegance of the 1920s era, with finely detailed rooms and private spaces that capture the charm of early 20th-century design. Elegant fixtures and intricate woodwork are featured throughout the home, showcasing the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The formal kitchen, dining room, and butler’s pantry maintain the style of the 1920s, offering timeless sophistication. Many of the rooms focus on the stunning mountain and forest views, bringing the natural surroundings into the home. Expansive porches, patios, and an outdoor fireplace provide the perfect settings for creating cherished family memories and enjoying the serene environment.

The homeowners selected Mantell-Hecathorn Builders (MHB) for their dedication to quality, their 100% commitment to third-party certified high-performance standards, and for their personal attention to detail throughout every phase of the project. Despite its size and complexity, this home achieved exceptional performance, being rated 61% more energy-efficient than a similar home built to county code.
